When I was a little girl, I loved having tea parties with my
dolls and
teddys. I had a tiny brown
tea set, which made me feel ever so grown up, as it was made from
real china. I loved it and played with it frequently. These days we don't always like to give our children anything breakable, so why not make a crochet version, complete with all sorts of
yummy goodies fit for a princess. I have found some fantastic free patterns that will ensure your little one has the perfect tea party.
Crochet Tea Party
The first thing you need is a
tea set and this one comes complete with a teapot, and cups and saucers. The pattern is available at Red Heart.
Let's start off our afternoon tea, with a lovely sandwich. This pattern is by Yummi Gurumi and is available at Craft Foxes. I just love the detail in the tomatoes and lettuce.
Your little one will love these replicas of family favourite biscuits. You can't beat a Jammy Dodger and what tea party would be complete without some Party Rings. You can find this pattern at Molly Makes.
These donuts by My Sewing Mall look good enough to eat...
We probably should have at least one healthy option at our tea party and these crochet strawberries look too cute for words. The pattern is by Crafty Marie.
...and finally every tea party needs cupcakes and these kawai ones are just the cutest thing you have ever seen. The pattern is by Candy Van Sweet and available to download at Ravelry.
Pin it for later...
I hope you enjoyed my pattern selections this week. Which is your favourite? I can't choose between the cup cakes and the English biscuits. Who would you make this for? Let me know in the comments below. I will see you all again soon and don't forget to follow (in the sidebar) and subscribe for more posts like this.
